About Culturevating Faith
🌸 Shalom & Welcome!
I’m Serach, and I’m on a journey to explore the depths of truth in faith, guided by the love and wisdom of יהוה (Yah).
My name means “free of restraint,” a reflection of my desire to seek the truth that sets us free. In Psalm 119, we learn that Torah brings liberty, not bondage. The idea that the “New Testament” teaches otherwise comes from centuries of misunderstanding and antisemitism that entered the early church after the first century.
🕊 A Shared Journey
This website is a shared endeavor with my husband. Together we work, serve, study, pray, and build a life of unity in Yeshua and Torah.
We are a family learning to walk like Yeshua walked as we pursue Torah, cultivating a life of faith and shalom in our hearts and home.
Our path is one of discipleship and devotion, where Torah and faith in Messiah intertwine to bring true freedom. As protectors and nurturers, our desire is to edify fellow disciples, encouraging others to grow in loving obedience to יהוה.
📜 Statement of Faith
Our beliefs are rooted in the eternal truth of all Scripture, the original and renewed covenants, inspired by יהוה.
We don’t see “Old” and “New Testaments,” but one continuous story of covenant and redemption. Each covenant builds upon the last.
We believe:
-
יהוה is Echad (One), yet expressed in perfect unity with His Ruach (Spirit) and the Messiah (Isaiah 48:16).
-
Yeshua HaMashiach, fully divine and fully human, fulfilled prophecy through His death, resurrection, ascension, and promised return.
-
Free will and divine sovereignty exist in perfect harmony, reflecting both God’s authority and our responsibility.
-
All humanity bears the image of God, yet sin separates us from Him. Salvation is found through Yeshua and our faith in Him.
We commit to living a WDYD (What Did Yeshua Do) lifestyle by following His teachings and example, immersed in His name, and walking as He walked.
🌿 Torah and Faith
We believe Torah is an expression of love and obedience, not a means of earning salvation, but evidence of it.
Faith without the action of Torah is lifeless. Scripture teaches us to repent (turn back to Torah), follow Yeshua, obey His commandments, and endure to the end.
Just as Abraham’s faith was proven by obedience, we seek to live the same way:
“Because Aḇraham obeyed My voice and guarded My charge—My commands, My laws, and My Torot (plural of Torah).”
— Genesis 26:5
Yes, the commandments and Torah existed long before Moses.
✨ Join Us in the Pursuit of Truth
As we continue this journey, we invite you to walk with us in truth, faith, and shalom.
May the love of יהוה guide our steps and may His Word shape every part of our lives.
Shalom, and welcome to Culturevating Faith; where truth grows deep, and life bears fruit.
